I love music. My autism brain moves with the music, enough to the point where I sometimes project a music video into my head... then dance like a goofball. At some point, I became infactuated with wanting to make mash-ups, despite not knowing how to make music or even understand the terminology related to music productin. My own inspiration for wanting to try something like this goes back to YTPMVs, SilvaGunner rips, and even some EDM DJs playing live mixes. That's where the YouTube channel, RoxanneRadio, comes in. It allows me to experiment on mash-ups, as well as provide other rips that are either nonexistent, too short, or lack an instrumental.
One other major factor that convinced me to try something like this in the first place would be Intel's OpenVINO project. It's an Audacity plugin that allows you to use AI to actually seperate music tracks into breakable layers. Vocals, instruments, bass, stuff like that. It opens the barrier further into more creative mash-ups or just wanting a sick sample, especially when say, it's harder to find a source sample on a super old track.
Anyways, below, you'll find some examples of some mash-ups I previously did in my spare time, using both Audacity and VEGAS Pro.
Roxanne is a fluid, bi, furry goat that loves to create variety content. Source Filmmaker, Halo MCC mods, mashups, and everything else in between.
